Honey Baby Naturals Review

I always love trying out new hair products and discovering new brands. I came across Honey Baby Naturals at the Quintessential Naturals tour I attended last month. I loved how it was a family orientated business and also Afro-Latina owned business as well. I actually picked up the entire line (it made sense because I was getting them at a discount lol) and I'll be reviewing the hair care products today.  I have to say that I love that these products are free of harsh chemicals, sulfates, parabens and much more. Also that honey is one of the main ingredients which is an amazing benefit to your hair. Let's get into the review of each product. Honey Child Moisture Shampoo I like that this shampoo looks like honey and thought it was going to be that consistency. It was not as thick as honey but not as watery as most shampoos. It really cleansed my hair and scalp and left my hair feeling surprisingly soft and moisturized. I was really impressed with that and a l...

Herbal Essences The Sleeker,The Butter Review

Happy Friday!! It has been so windy today!! Well this post is going to be on the new co-wash I have been using on my hair by Herbal Essences. I briefly mentioned this in my updated hair routine and said that I would review it as soon as I started using it. So let's get into my thoughts on this hair product. I was previously using the As I Am Coconut co-wash and loved using it. I was starting to run low and wanted to try something new. Of course I'm always in Target and saw this conditioner. When I first started to wear my hair natural, I was using the Herbal Essences Hello Hydration conditioner because it was highly recommended. That stuff worked so well with my hair so I had to give this a try. The main ingredient is Cupuacu (koo-poo-ah-soo) which is supposed to help with dry and frizzy hair. Cupuacu is found in the Amazon and I have seen this pop up in a few other hair care products. This conditioner smells amazing. It has a sweet scent but its not overpowering and too...

Review on Not Your Mother's Beach Babe Texturizing Shampoo and Conditioner #NYMBeachBabe

It's double dose Tuesday, lol!! This review is going to be on Not Your Mother's Beach Babe Shampoo and Conditioner. I received these two products in my Influenster Surf's Up Vox Box a little while ago and were sent for free to test out. This review is based on my opinion after using the products. I was a little skeptical at first because I didn't know if they were going to work in my hair but I was pretty much proved wrong. Not Your Mother's Beach Babe Texturizing Shampoo I love that both products are sulfate free which was great for me. I use a lot of sulfate free products in my hair. This shampoo smelled so amazing, it was like you were on a tropical beach. You did not need a lot of product to wash with. I had to enough to wash all of my hair (and I have A LOT of it) and still have some left to use another time. It really cleansed my scalp and left my hair feeling pretty soft. What sold me on this brand is that I noticed the front section of my hair that d...

Brown Box Hair Product Reviews

Hey guys! I'm back with another post in this series. I used these products when I washed my hair last week. This review is going to be on a few products from Nothing But Hair line. There was a sample pack with shampoo, conditioner, hair mask and styling products that I was really interested in trying out. I loved that it didn't contain any parabins, sulfates or other harsh minerals that can be damaging to your hair. Everything that I'm about to review can be found directly on the company website and in Sally's, Walmart and Rite Aid. Nothing But Clarifying Shampoo and Cleansing Conditioner After washing out my hair treatment, I started with the shampoo. A little goes a long way with this product. I didn't need too much of the shampoo to cleanse my hair. It lathered up really nice and made my hair feel really clean and soft. It also smelled so amazing. I used the conditioner after the shampoo and there wasn't enough in the sample pack for me. I like t...
