The Resolute Beauty Blogger- July 2014

Resolute Beauty Blogger July 2014 Hi Ladies!  Beauty Bloggers Shalunya from  Shalunya and Boyet  and El from  Glossy Glam Blog  teamed up to create The Resolute Beauty Blogger. They wanted to do this to not only stay on track with their Beauty Blog Resolutions for 2014 but also to give other beauty bloggers the chance to join in on the action.  This is the second month of this series and I have been making some progress with my goals!! Blogging Goals 1. Set Up A Blogging Schedule: I'm still keeping to my Sunday, Tuesday and Friday schedule and it has been working out great for me!! 2. Change Up Current Style: The design of the blog itself is still in the works but I like how I've been blogging now. I'm going to start saving up for editing software and a camera to vlog with so I can make better videos.  3. Learn More About Blogging: I really haven't gotten to this one yet. Maybe I can start next month on doing some reading and research.

DIY Hair Mask Reviews

Hey guys!! I was waiting to try out a few hair mask to review them. I love making my own hair mask with the ingredients right in my kitchen. It saves on money and the natural ingredients really help with softening and nourishing your hair. I'm going to be talking about 3 different hair masks that I have use over the past couple of months. Mask #1 1 Cup of Coconut Milk 1 peeled and mashed Avocado 1 Tbsp Honey Combine all ingredients in a small bowl, apply and massage into hair and scalp. Leave in for 15-60 minutes. You can heat the treatment. Now I had the toughest time with the avocado, I must of gotten one that wasn't all the way ripe. I didn't do a good job of mashing it up so I was having fun shaking little chunks of it out of my hair. I did heat up the mask and I loved the results I got. My hair was so soft and was so easy to manage. I would use this one again but maybe put the avocado in the blender. Mask #2 I Avocado 2 Tbsp Honey 1 Tsp Avocado o

Favorite Summer Beauty Products

Hey Guys!! Happy Friday!! This post is going to be about my favorite beauty products that I love to use all Summer long!! I'm thinking of turning this into a seasonal post. Tinted Moisturizer When it starts to get really humid and hot outside, I like to keep it light on my face. I put away my BB cream and other foundations and only use my tinted moisturizer. The only one that I have found in my shade is by Stila. This was $34 but so worth it. It is so lightweight, I forget I have it on. It blends so well with my complexion and gives a nice fresh and flawless look. It also has SPF 20 which is good when you are in the sun. Hopefully I can find another tinted moisturizer that matches me but for now I'll stick with this one. Bronzer I just love the glowy, bronze look during the summer. These are two of my favorite bronzers to use during the summer. I have two from Victoria's Secret but I dropped one and it is in pieces :( so I have been using this Mega Glow Bronze

Review on The Vacationers

Hey guys!! So a while back, Birchbox and Birchbloggers announced they were starting a book club! The first book was The Vacationers by Emma Straub. They sent out an email to tweet about your favorite vacation and 100 Birchbloggers were going to be randomly selected to receive an early copy of the book to review for your blog! I was one of the lucky 100 people to receive this book!! Thank you so much Birchbox and  Birchbloggers!! Its hard for me to really sit down and read due to my busy, crazy life but it only took me a day and a half to get through this book. I honestly could not put it down!! Overall , I really enjoyed reading this book. If I can't put the book down, its a good one. The author did a really amazing job with the storyline and how descriptive everything was. I'm not going to give too much away because you should go out and get this book to read. The book is about the Post family and their summer vacation to Mallorca, Spain for two weeks. I've never b

Shopping My Beauty Samples

Hey guys! Its been a while since I have done a post in this series. I was waiting to use enough samples to make a post. Willa On The Go Towelettes Box it came from: Ipsy Full Size or Sample Size: Sample Size Price Point: 10.00 Review: I loved the scent of these towelettes but did not like them at all. They were easy to use and seemed to get the job done but after I used one, I started to feel this burning sensation on my face. It was not pleasant at all and it broke my face out a little. They immediately went in the trash after that and I would not repurchase these. Skyn Blue Clay Mask Box it came from: Ipsy Full Size or Sample Size: Sample Size Price Point: Box of 6 Mask for 39.00 Review: I was so interested in trying out this mask. I have tried previous facial products by this brand and loved them. This was a very easy mask to use, you applied Step 1 on your face first and when it started to foam up you would apply the other step until they were well blende

Brown Box Hair Product Reviews

Hey guys! Happy Friday!! I'm back with another post in this series since I washed my hair on Tuesday. Luscious Locks Shea Butter Shampoo I previously tried the Deep Conditioner from this line and loved it!! I was expecting this shampoo to be creamy because it contains Shea butter but it was a liquid consistency. It kind of threw me off when I poured some into my hand but I continued on with washing my hair. It also didn't smell too much like Shea Butter like I thought it would but it was a pleasant scent. You didn't need a lot to wash with and it really left my hair feeling very soft. I enjoyed using it and may repurchase sometime in the future. This is the full size bottle and its runs 10.00. It can be found on Luscious Locks website. UR Curly Quinoa Conditioner I found this to be very interesting because it contains quinoa protein. I used this as my conditioner and deep conditioner after shampooing my hair. I loved the silky, thick texture of this and it

Updated Skincare Regimen- July 2014

Hey guys!! Back in January I updated everyone on what I was currently using on my skin and you can see that post  HERE!  Since then I have changed my skincare routine and just wanted to give an update. Daytime Cleanser- L'Oreal Ideal Clean Foaming Gel Cleanser - This bottle is almost empty but I have been loving this cleanser in the morning. I may try something else since its so hot now. I'm open to suggestions!! Toner- Apple Cider Vinegar - Still using this as a toner. I just love it and I also use this in my hair. Eye Cream- Yes To Cucumbers Soothing Eye Gel - I'm going to use this until I'm out. It does help with puffiness in the mornings but I need to be using something for anti-aging soon. Sunscreen- L'Oreal Sublime Sun - I am on my second bottle of this and really love it. Its not too greasy on my face and doesn't make it oily. Moisturizer- Korres Pomegranate Balancing Cream-Gel Moisturizer - I purchased this a few months ago and just love
