How I Go From Curly To Straight

Happy Friday Loves!! Here is how I take my hair from curly to straight at home. It took a little bit to get a solid routine down but I got it. It is easy for me and saves money. What is your straight hair routine? What products do you use? Comment below and let me know. Stay warm and see you Sunday!! ~**Drea Notes**~ January Fitness Challenge Update I have completed my challenge and I'm so proud of myself. I really pushed and worked hard. It will all be worth it soon. It is really easy to work out now, I can do some of the advanced moves and really go hard working out. I'm not going to stop working out, it's only the beginning.  Anyone having a Super Bowl party on Sunday? I plan on watching the game and hopefully enjoy some good food. I'm going to try not to eat any bread next month which is going to be hard. I love pizza lol!!

Resolute Beauty Blogger- January 2015

Happy Tuesday!! I've been inside all day doing laundry, cleaning, doing projects with my son and the usual stuff I do lol. I know the other ladies finished this series last month but I joined late and wanted to do a full year also. Let's see how I made out with my goals this month! Blogging Goals 1. Set A Blogging Schedule- Still sticking to my Sunday, Tuesday and Friday. I may think about changing Sunday, not too sure yet. 2. Change Up The Current Style- I finally got over to my cousin's house and we changed the font and the background. I've been trying to figure out how to add the social media buttons on my page. How did some of you add the buttons on? We still have a lot of changes to make but this is a start. 3. Learn More About Blogging- I really didn't get too much into this one but still have my notes and research from last month. I will probably start looking over that soon. 4. Attend A Blogging Event- I still have been unsuccessfu

January Birchbox and Ipsy

Happy Tuesday!!  I'm just waiting around for this "Blizzard" to start. I normally do videos for my Birchbox and Ipsy but I'm starting to come down with something and I don't want to be sniffing and blowing my nose on camera lol.  Here is a look at the first boxes of the year!! Birchbox This is the first time I got a pre-made box through Birchbox. I found this one to be really interesting with products I haven't received before. This is the Relax and Recharge box. When Travelmate Sheet Mask ~ I have received masks like this in previous boxes and have really enjoyed them. I love the way they leave my face feeling super smooth and soft. I can't wait to try this out! Perlier Intensive Nurturing Body Balm in Shea Lavender ~ I was excited to see this in my box. I love a good body balm with Shea Butter in it. I don't smell the lavender too much, more of the Shea but it is a good body product. Manna Kadar Lip Locked Lip Stain in All of Me ~ This i

Frosty Vox Box Review*

Happy Sunday!! I hope everyone had a good weekend, I sure did lol!! My birthday was this past Friday and had a much needed weekend away. I'm so thankful to see another year!  I'm not looking forward to this snow that is coming soon. This post is going to be on the products I received in my Frosty Vox Box. *I received these products complementary from Influenster for testing purposes. Rimmel London Gentle Eye Makeup Remover and Scandaleyes Kohl Pencil in Black I previously did a full review on these two products which you can read  HERE!!  I have been loving both of these products and the brand Rimmel London. Eco Tools Full Volume Styler I was pretty excited to see this brush in my box. I couldn't wait to see how it would work the next time I straightened my hair. It is supposed to dry your hair 20% faster and not be as damaging. I think this is about to be my new brush to use when blow drying my hair. I love how big the brush is and how is does help cut do

Shopping My Beauty Samples

Happy Rainy and Icy Sunday!! I hope everyone enjoyed their weekend. I haven't done a post in this series in a while and I have been really trying to use my samples. Let's get into the reviews. Naobay Body Radiance Lotion Box It Came From: Birchbox Full Size or Sample Size: Sample Size Price Point: 18.00 Review: I really loved using this body lotion. I loved the creamy and thick texture and how soft it made my skin. There was enough in this sample size for a few uses. The scent was okay and I think this would be great for men and women. I think I would repurchase this again. One Love Organics Rose Body Serum Box It Came From: Glossybox Full Size or Sample Size: Sample Size Price Point: 39.00 Review: When I first received this sample, I wasn't sure if it was a perfume or for your body. I went online to figure out its purpose. I thought this body serum wasn't going to keep my skin moisturized all day but it did. My skin felt so nice and soft all day.

Rimmel London Review*

Happy Friday!!! The weekend is here!! This post is going to be a review on two Rimmel London beauty products. *I received these products complementary for testing purposes from Influenster. These are from my Frosty VoxBox. A full review of this box will be coming soon! Let's get into the reviews. Gentle Eye Make Up Remover I was very interested in trying this eye make up remover out. I normally don't use specific removers just for my eye makeup. I love the cute reference to Frozen on the packaging, by the way I love that movie...don't judge me lol! The make up remover is very gentle around the eye area. You don't feel any burning or stinging at all. It just feels like cool water to me. It really gets the makeup off in very few strokes which I was impressed with. Even the stubborn eyeliner and mascara came off pretty easy. I really love this eye make up remover and now use this every time I remove my make up. Scandaleyes Waterproof Kohl Pencil in Black

Futurebiotics Hair, Skin and Nails Review

Happy Tuesday!! Hope everyone had a great weekend. This is going to be on the biotin vitamins I've been taking lately from Futurebiotics. I started taking biotin sometime last year and have tried two other brands previously. I was in Vitamin Shoppe one day and decided to give these a try. I have been having the hardest time remembering to take these. I am just not a big fan of how big the pills are. I have trouble with swallowing large pills and with these, you have to take them three times a day. Other than the size of the vitamins, you have to drink LOTS of water with them. I know with any biotin supplement, water is a must but with these it seemed like you had to drink extra. If you didn't drink enough water, you will feel extremely thirsty like you needed to drink an ocean. I made sure to drink plenty of water so I didn't feel that way again. I was taking these on and off for months and every time I started again, my face would break out a little. It would go

January Fitness Challenge

Happy Sunday!! Currently about to finish some laundry and cleaning and get my son ready to go back to school tomorrow!! I hope everyone has enjoyed their weekend so far. I recently posted about making more commitments and sticking to them this year. One of those things is working out more consistently. Last month I tried doing the 30 day Ab and Squat challenge...again and failed miserably. I haven't been to the gym in I don't know how long and feel myself getting out of shape. I was going through some pictures and found this. I purchased these fitness DVD's over a year or two ago and I only used them for about a week or so then stopped. Starting tomorrow I will be using these for the rest of the month and taking myself to the gym on my days off. I know it's going to hard and I'll want to give up but I need to just remind myself that I made this commitment and I want to be in better shape. I will give weekly updates on my progress and I encourage some of you tha

On a personal note...Welcome to 2015

Happy New Year!! I'm just so thankful to see another year. I brought in the new year with friends and family and just loved enjoying time with everyone. I wasn't going to post today because I was just enjoying the time with family but I was up late thinking and had to post this. I'm not one for making resolutions anymore but I'm making more of a commitment to myself. I always say I'm going to do this, do that, keep dwelling in the past, wondering what could or should of been. No more of any of that!!! I've been thinking so much and talking to close family and friends and I realized the common denominator of all the conversations. I need to stick to my word about things I want to do, I need to stop dwelling about things that happened years ago and I need to stop holding myself back. I want to be a more positive force in this world and blogging community. I'm ready to fall and get right back up again and fight more for what I want. I'm just ready to let
