Week 1 Results

So in my previous post, I'm on the hunt for finding a skincare regimen that works for me. I'm going to be doing this for about four weeks and hopefully find something that works. Here is a recap on the products I used during week one:

Daytime: Cleanser- Nastassja
                Toner- Apple Cider Vinegar
                Serum- Epionce
                Eye Cream- Yes To Cucumbers
                Moisturizer- Korres

Nighttime:Coconut Oil
                 Cleansing Water
Eye Cream and Moisturizer(same as daytime)

The first day of the new routine, my face did break out a little but calmed down after rubbing an ice cube across it. My skin felt like it was burning, maybe because I was doing something different. On Wednesday, I did exfoliate at night with Sukiface Exfoliating Cleanser (it is in my August Monthly Favorites post). On Thursday, I realized I ran out of my cleanser and used a cleanser called Menza that I received in one of my boxes. I really did not like the way it made my face feel after using it. It just made my face feel a bit dry and I just didn't like how my face felt. I went to Target and purchased L'oreal Ideal Clean Foaming Gel Cleanser to replace my other one. I did not wash my face that night for some reason, I think I was really tired( Good thing I didn't have on makeup that day). I do love how my skin felt smooth and really clean.I did not use a mask during this week but will in future weeks.  I did have a few flare ups but overall, I did like the results. I feel that I don't really need to use a serum. I guess I need to do more research on what serums do and if I really do need to use it with my skincare routine.

Week 2 has started and the next post will list everything I will be using!

Sometimes its hard.....

You know when you keep thinking of something and you just feel like you have to get it out? That was me before sitting down to write this post. I had something else planned to write but I kept thinking...sometimes its hard and it just evolved from there. We all heard the sayings, life isn't fair, life is hard and so on. Sometimes life can be hard but we don't experience it for long. There are so many things that I want to do but I know I can't do a million things at once. I can't just pick and go anymore, I'm someone's parent now. There are times I want to but I know things have to be planned out now. I will get to those place I want to go, just have to be patient and plan it out. It seems like we focus so much on what is hard about life that we forget about the easy stuff. We forget sometimes about all the good things that happen and to be grateful for getting through those rough patches. You may not like your living situation but you have a roof over

My Blogging and Personal Goals

Hey guys! Lately things have been crazy and hectic and just too crazy. I've been driving myself crazy thinking about too much and stressing out. So I was at work one day and this post popped in my head. I'm setting personal and blogging goals for myself to bring some order to my life and will be doing updates every month for the next 6 months to a year. Let's start with my blogging goals. Set a Blogging Schedule I blog whenever I have a day off or free time and it's always on different days. I want to set a schedule so I can be more prepared and not get behind on posting. I know that life happens and you can't help that sometimes but I feel if I want to be successful at this, I need to be a little more organized. Change Up the Style My blog is still going through changes and will be complete sometime soon. I also want to change the style of my blog a little bit. I've been doing some research and hopefully these are good changes!! Learn More about Blogg
