Week 1~ Finding a skincare routine and regimen

My skin has been really picky when it comes to what I put on my face. I have tried hundreds of products to get my skin to look so flawless and clear. Once I find something that I love, it breaks me out one day and then I'm back to square one. The only products I've ever used were a cleanser, moisturizer and makeup remover. Then all these other serums, eyecreams, toners and so on started to come around and I thought personally it was way too much to put on my face. Since I'm starting to get a little older, I want to look as young as I can for as long as I can ( which won't be too hard because people think I'm a teenager lol). So I decided to experiment with different products and routines to see if I can find something that works for me. I'm also going to just drink water, green tea and occasional coffee during this run. So this week this is my routine:
DAYTIME REGIMEN:

1. Cleanser- Nastassja Blooming Facial Cleansing Oil, I am totally in love with these cleanser! I won it from a Twitter Chat with GlossyBox and it has never broke me out and has made a great difference in how my skin looks! It's almost empty and I so need to stock up!

2.Toner- Apple Cider Vinegar, I got this from Beautylish, an app that's all about beauty. You can but makeup, post questions and answer them in the forum, write reviews on products and read really great articles. I've tried other toners but as usual my face broke out but this has been working really well.

3. Serum- Epionce, I have never used or heard of a serum before and had no clue if I really needed to use it or not. I got a few with my beauty boxes and decided to give this one a try.

4. Moisturizer- Korres Pomegranate Cream-Gel, This was mentioned in my August Favorites post and I'm still loving it!!

5. Eye Cream- Yes to Cucumbers Soothing Eye Gel, This was in my previous post on my new products purchased and so far so good.

NIGHTTIME REGIMEN:

1. Coconut Oil, Another tip I got from Beautylish to use coconut oil to remove makeup and as a facial cleanser. I love this more than the makeup remover products I've used before. I also use this in my hair which I love! It really gets the makeup off and leaves your skin feeling wonderful. I'm loving the multi-purpose products!

2. Sephora Triple Action Cleansing Water, I purchased this a while ago to use as a makeup remover but then fell in love with my coconut oil. So I figured I use this to clean up any extra dirt on my face.

3. Moisturize and Eye Cream (same products from Daytime)

I will add a mask once this week and exfoliate twice. I will list the products after this week trial is over. Hopefully I don't break out too bad. Wish me luck!!

Sometimes its hard.....

You know when you keep thinking of something and you just feel like you have to get it out? That was me before sitting down to write this post. I had something else planned to write but I kept thinking...sometimes its hard and it just evolved from there. We all heard the sayings, life isn't fair, life is hard and so on. Sometimes life can be hard but we don't experience it for long. There are so many things that I want to do but I know I can't do a million things at once. I can't just pick and go anymore, I'm someone's parent now. There are times I want to but I know things have to be planned out now. I will get to those place I want to go, just have to be patient and plan it out. It seems like we focus so much on what is hard about life that we forget about the easy stuff. We forget sometimes about all the good things that happen and to be grateful for getting through those rough patches. You may not like your living situation but you have a roof over

On a personal note....Update on Blogging and Personal Goals

Happy Football Sunday!! I hope everyone has been enjoying the weekend and getting ready to celebrate Thanksgiving!! I can't believe it is this week! I can't wait to spend time with family! I thought about giving an update to the personal and blogging goals I set for myself last year with the Resolute Beauty Blogger series. You can check out my results post  HERE!!  I completed this in May of this year so let's see how I've been doing since then. Blogging Goals 1. Attend A Blogging Event- Since then I have not attended another event. I was so happy when I did find my one event to attend. I have been keeping in contact with those bloggers I met and reading their blogs. I have been finding events but there are scheduling conflicts. I hope to find another one very soon. 2. Set A Blogging Schedule- I am still sticking to my Sunday, Thursday and every other Friday schedule. It has been really working with my hectic schedule I already have. 3. Change Up Current Style-

Fall Fashion Trends 2017

I keep saying it but I'm going to speak it into existence, I'm going to New York Fashion Week one of these days. It has always been a dream of mine to go and I always miss when it is or have a conflicting schedule but I'm determined to get there. Speaking of fashion, I wanted to share some of my favorites Fall Fashions trends I've seen floating around.  Plaid Image taken from the web I feel like plaid is one of those classic patterns that is always in style. It may not be in the forefront but you always see it. I love plaid, I don't wear it often but I just love how you can dress it up or down, be casual or dressy with it. I would normally wear a plaid button up shirt but would like to venture into different pieces. Sleepwear  When I first saw people doing this, I wasn't a fan but the more I saw different versions, I started to like it. I like this trend when it is done right. I feel like this can be worn on a night out, something you
