Shopping My Beauty Samples

Just one more week of school!! I can't wait to have another break, this class was kind of challenging and really made you think. Well today I am bringing you another Shopping My Beauty Samples!! Since I organized all my samples, it is easier to use them up and have room for more that will come lol! Let's get into the reviews!!

Carol's Daughter Sacred Tiare 4 in 1 Combing Creme

Box It Came From: Essence Beauty Box
Full Size or Sample Size: Sample Size
Price Point: 10.00
Review: I have only used another product like this by Shea Moisture and I love this one just as much! This products helps the styling process go much smoother by getting the tangles out you may have missed and makes it so much easier to style your hair, This has come in handy whenever I do my hair because it tends to have a mind of its own sometimes lol! It makes my hair so smooth and so easy to style without any issues. I am going to purchase the full size!!

Jane Carter Solution Seal and Shine

Box It Came From: Essence Beauty Box
Full Size or Sample Size: Sample Size
Price Point: 15.00
Review: I have seen this brand in Target but just never picked anything up. I'm glad I got this in my box and have been using this a lot lately. I spray this all over my hair in the morning before leaving the house and love the shine it gives my hair. It also helps to keep my hair moisturized with Shea butter, mango butter and other essential oils. I think I would purchase the full size and pick up other products by this brand.

Model Co Lip Laquer in Morocco

Box It Came From: Birchbox
Full Size or Sample Size: Sample Size
Price Point: 24.00
Review: I have received a couple lipsticks by this brand and loved them. I was pretty excited to see this in my box. This is like a brown nude on me so I have to pair this gloss with a brown lip liner. It has a pretty good wear time and is not sticky or drying at all. I'm not sure if I would purchase the full size but really liked this gloss.

Earth's Nectar Coconut Curls Leave In Conditioner

Box It Came From: Essence Beauty Box
Full Size or Sample Size: Sample Size
Price Point: 23.50
Review: I'm just going to say I'm obsessed with this leave in conditioner and already want the full size! I saw this product on the Glam Twinz channel when they did a high end hair product haul. I was happy when I got this in my box and just fell in love the first time I used it. The funny thing is , this smells nothing like coconuts, it smells like limes lol! I love the consistency of this product and how well it kept my hair moisturized and feeling so soft. I was on the Sephora website looking at all the other products this brand has, I want to try a few things. This may be my new favorite leave in conditioner!

Clean Blossom Eau de Parfum

Box It Came From: Birchbox
Full Size or Sample Size: Sample Size
Price Point: 72.00
Review: As you know, I don't mind getting these perfume samples. I actually like trying out a whole bunch of different perfumes before committing to a full size. I really like this fragrance. It is perfect for this time of the year. I really smell the warm cotton and blossom notes which are nice and light. It is not a strong scent and can be worn day or night. I may look into this one if they have it in a rollerball lol!

Clean Reserve Eau de Parfum

Box It Came From: Birchbox
Full Size or Sample Size: Sample Size
Price Point: 72.00
Review: I think I got these back to back and I really like this one too. This is more of a warmer scent which I love to wear during the colder seasons. It is like a woody, floral scent which you could wear day or night as well. If this is sold in a rollerball, I may pick it up.

So that is it for Shopping My Beauty Samples. Have you tried any of these products? What were your thoughts? Comment below and let me know. See you guys Thursday!!

Sometimes its hard.....

You know when you keep thinking of something and you just feel like you have to get it out? That was me before sitting down to write this post. I had something else planned to write but I kept thinking...sometimes its hard and it just evolved from there. We all heard the sayings, life isn't fair, life is hard and so on. Sometimes life can be hard but we don't experience it for long. There are so many things that I want to do but I know I can't do a million things at once. I can't just pick and go anymore, I'm someone's parent now. There are times I want to but I know things have to be planned out now. I will get to those place I want to go, just have to be patient and plan it out. It seems like we focus so much on what is hard about life that we forget about the easy stuff. We forget sometimes about all the good things that happen and to be grateful for getting through those rough patches. You may not like your living situation but you have a roof over

On a personal note....Update on Blogging and Personal Goals

Happy Football Sunday!! I hope everyone has been enjoying the weekend and getting ready to celebrate Thanksgiving!! I can't believe it is this week! I can't wait to spend time with family! I thought about giving an update to the personal and blogging goals I set for myself last year with the Resolute Beauty Blogger series. You can check out my results post  HERE!!  I completed this in May of this year so let's see how I've been doing since then. Blogging Goals 1. Attend A Blogging Event- Since then I have not attended another event. I was so happy when I did find my one event to attend. I have been keeping in contact with those bloggers I met and reading their blogs. I have been finding events but there are scheduling conflicts. I hope to find another one very soon. 2. Set A Blogging Schedule- I am still sticking to my Sunday, Thursday and every other Friday schedule. It has been really working with my hectic schedule I already have. 3. Change Up Current Style-

Fall Fashion Trends 2017

I keep saying it but I'm going to speak it into existence, I'm going to New York Fashion Week one of these days. It has always been a dream of mine to go and I always miss when it is or have a conflicting schedule but I'm determined to get there. Speaking of fashion, I wanted to share some of my favorites Fall Fashions trends I've seen floating around.  Plaid Image taken from the web I feel like plaid is one of those classic patterns that is always in style. It may not be in the forefront but you always see it. I love plaid, I don't wear it often but I just love how you can dress it up or down, be casual or dressy with it. I would normally wear a plaid button up shirt but would like to venture into different pieces. Sleepwear  When I first saw people doing this, I wasn't a fan but the more I saw different versions, I started to like it. I like this trend when it is done right. I feel like this can be worn on a night out, something you
