March Goal Results and April Goals

Happy Friday! I have been loving the weather this week and hope it stays. I know I was supposed to have my makeup tutorial up today but was having some technical difficulties. I will have that up later today or tomorrow for you guys. I still wanted to get something up today so why not update you on how I did last month with my goals! You can see my previous post HERE!!

Record tutorials and upload once a week- You know, I commend those that do this for a living because this whole tutorial process was no joke! I was able to get my hair routine up for you guys and that was a lot. I had to record like 5 separate videos and mash them all together. The editing process is a lot of work as well. I recently purchased Adobe Premiere and have been learning how to work it. It seems pretty easy and I'm getting the hang of it. I plan on getting more tutorials up and practicing my editing skills.

Clean Eating- I was pretty good with this one. I always have healthy snacks at work and drink water all day. I had a few treats here and there but overall I did well.

Use Bath and Body Works stuff- I was good at the beginning of the month using two of my favorite scent, Moonlight Path and Japanese Cherry Blossom. I kinda slacked off the last week but I did actually use them.

Here are the goals I have set for April:

30 Day Squat Challenge
Organizing my samples and hair products
Practicing how to contour

So that was it for my monthly goal update. Did you have goals set for March? How did you make out? Comment below and let me know. I'll see you guys later today or tomorrow. Have a great weekend!!

Have you checked out my previous post from my series, Shopping My Beauty Samples??

    1. I think my trick was to start buying healthy snacks like fruit and veggies to start with and you can go from there. It doesn't help when people bring doughnuts into the office lol! Thanks for reading Tanya!!

Sometimes its hard.....

You know when you keep thinking of something and you just feel like you have to get it out? That was me before sitting down to write this post. I had something else planned to write but I kept thinking...sometimes its hard and it just evolved from there. We all heard the sayings, life isn't fair, life is hard and so on. Sometimes life can be hard but we don't experience it for long. There are so many things that I want to do but I know I can't do a million things at once. I can't just pick and go anymore, I'm someone's parent now. There are times I want to but I know things have to be planned out now. I will get to those place I want to go, just have to be patient and plan it out. It seems like we focus so much on what is hard about life that we forget about the easy stuff. We forget sometimes about all the good things that happen and to be grateful for getting through those rough patches. You may not like your living situation but you have a roof over

On a personal note....Update on Blogging and Personal Goals

Happy Football Sunday!! I hope everyone has been enjoying the weekend and getting ready to celebrate Thanksgiving!! I can't believe it is this week! I can't wait to spend time with family! I thought about giving an update to the personal and blogging goals I set for myself last year with the Resolute Beauty Blogger series. You can check out my results post  HERE!!  I completed this in May of this year so let's see how I've been doing since then. Blogging Goals 1. Attend A Blogging Event- Since then I have not attended another event. I was so happy when I did find my one event to attend. I have been keeping in contact with those bloggers I met and reading their blogs. I have been finding events but there are scheduling conflicts. I hope to find another one very soon. 2. Set A Blogging Schedule- I am still sticking to my Sunday, Thursday and every other Friday schedule. It has been really working with my hectic schedule I already have. 3. Change Up Current Style-

Fall Fashion Trends 2017

I keep saying it but I'm going to speak it into existence, I'm going to New York Fashion Week one of these days. It has always been a dream of mine to go and I always miss when it is or have a conflicting schedule but I'm determined to get there. Speaking of fashion, I wanted to share some of my favorites Fall Fashions trends I've seen floating around.  Plaid Image taken from the web I feel like plaid is one of those classic patterns that is always in style. It may not be in the forefront but you always see it. I love plaid, I don't wear it often but I just love how you can dress it up or down, be casual or dressy with it. I would normally wear a plaid button up shirt but would like to venture into different pieces. Sleepwear  When I first saw people doing this, I wasn't a fan but the more I saw different versions, I started to like it. I like this trend when it is done right. I feel like this can be worn on a night out, something you
