My Blush Collection

I am back with another post for January's theme, All About Makeup. This is going to be about all the the blushes that I own. I really didn't wear blush until about a few years ago. I was afraid of how it would look on me and just didn't know if I really needed it or not.

MAC in Prom Princess, Format and Pinch Me

 The first blush I ever purchased was Format by MAC. I felt it was a safe, neutral color for me to start out with. I'm surprised I don't have more blushes by MAC because I love them so much, lol. I would like more sometime in the future.
NYX in Summer Peach, Tea Rose and Pinched

 This has to be my second favorite cosmetic line. I just love how affordable they are and the wonderful quality you get. I actually picked these out myself and was very curious to try out a cream blush which I only used once. I wasn't too sure if I needed a brush to apply or my fingers. NYX has very pretty blushes that show up very nicely and pigmented on your skin.
Cover Girl Cheekers in Plum Plush and Rock 'N Rose

 I picked these up as an impulse buy at Target and because I didn't have a dark, plum colored blush. I'm starting to get more into the drugstore brands and these are really great blushes to own.

    All these blushes look so pretty!!!! I've heard everyone rave about the NYX blushes. And you already know MAC's are always great. Love them

    Great blushes!! I hear amazing about NYX blushes but I haven't tried them yet, I absolutely LOVE MAC blushes, as well as theBalm blushes!

      Thanks for stopping by Lilly! Yes, you should try NYX blushes, they're pretty great and afforable! I need to look into The Balm products, I've read so many great things about them!

    Physicians Formula and Milani both have great blushes. I wore Physicians Formula today. You should take a peek next time your in the drugstore. I love all of your picks ,great color choices. I much prefer Maybelline Dream Bouncy and ELF crem blush to the NYX cream. Great post.

Taking a break.......

On Tuesday I did mention that I had some exciting news to share. I have been working part time for a while and searching like crazy for full time work. I was starting to get a little frustrated but never gave up. Well a full time opportunity came up at my current job and I am now full time status!!! I was just so overjoyed and thankful. I will have a more stable income, I can go back to school and start to make some moves. Then I started to get a little overwhelmed. How was I going to juggle being a full-time working mom, grad student, blogger and balance everything else. It has been a while since I had a full time schedule and based my blogging schedule around my days off during the week. Updated: How I currently store my makeup

Hey guys! Back in January, I took everyone through my entire, well majority of my makeup collection. I showed how I used to store my makeup. You can see that original post  here.  I had everything stored in my empty Birchboxes. It was working for a while until I went to two makeup shows and I didn't have a place for everything! As I was cleaning one day, I saw that had this tall storage bin with stuff that I don't even use anymore and thought it would be a great place to store all my makeup and still have it organized. Here is a picture of where my makeup is currently stored. I believe I purchased this 7 drawer unit at Walmart years ago and glad I kept it! It has come in handy. I'll take you through what is in each drawer. I'll start with the top of the unit where all my brushes, setting sprays (that I haven't used yet lol), OCC lip tars( I couldn't find anything to store them in but that red cup lol. Make Beauty Review*

Happy Friday beauty lovers! I hope you have been enjoying Winter again lol! I hope Mother Nature gets it together soon lol.
