School starts next week!! I'm so nervous!!! 

IMATS is next Saturday, I'm so excited. My friends and I are already planning when to leave and what table we are going to first!!

I've been in such a positive and happy mood lately!! Things have been just going so well!!! I'm just so thankful for keeping the faith, praying and knowing things will get better!!

    i have reviewed that dove products before. the garnier will be on the blog soon. i have one of the gaga perfumes on the blog before--the unisex one and i loved it. i have shared the rimmel and it was a avery natural mascara.

    I'll definitely check into the Walmart Beauty Box! The Rimmel Lash Accelerator Mascara is one of my all time drugstore favorites! I hope you like it! Girl, don't worry about school, you're going to ace your way through with no problems I know it!

    I hope you have an amazing time at IMATS! Did you get a selfie stick yet??!?! It's definitely going to be handy to use when you're at IMATS and BeautyCon!

    Hey Drea! A few things: 1) I definitely didn't know that Walmart had a beauty box! Thanks for sharing. 2) I've had one or two mascaras by Rimmel, and they never wowed me. Maybelline has the best mascara in the drugstore market, in my humble opinion. 3) Your hair is on FLEEK in the video! LOL. 4) I'm wishing you well with your first week of classes.

      Thank you so much Drea!! Yea I hopped on the Walmart box as soon as I found out about it. You can't beat the price!!! I don't think I have tried Maybelline mascaras before but I do hear a lot of great things about them. Thanks for stopping by!!

Taking a break.......

On Tuesday I did mention that I had some exciting news to share. I have been working part time for a while and searching like crazy for full time work. I was starting to get a little frustrated but never gave up. Well a full time opportunity came up at my current job and I am now full time status!!! I was just so overjoyed and thankful. I will have a more stable income, I can go back to school and start to make some moves. Then I started to get a little overwhelmed. How was I going to juggle being a full-time working mom, grad student, blogger and balance everything else. Make Beauty Review*

Happy Friday beauty lovers! I hope you have been enjoying Winter again lol! I hope Mother Nature gets it together soon lol. Today I am bringing you another review powered by BrandBacker! *I was sent these products for testing purposes and this is my opinion after using. Let's get into the reviews! *Powered By BrandBacker* I was pretty excited when I was picked for this campaign. I have tried a Make Beauty eyeshadow before and loved it. Honestly, I was expecting the samples to be a little bigger. I was a little disappointed in the lipstick sample, it was hard to use. It kept breaking when I was trying to apply it. Make Beauty is a very new company to me that I was introduced to through Birchbox.  They have just about everything from eyeshadows to contour kits. They also have a line for skincare as well. No Buy is Officially Over!!

Yay!! I survived 2 months without a single makeup purchase!! I am so proud of myself and knew I had the will power to do it!! It really helped me staying out of Sephora, Ulta and Mac, the usual places that get me in trouble lol! When I went into Target or Walmart, I wouldn't even go near the makeup section. Funny thing is, I haven't run to the store yet to purchase anything on my wish list yet but I will soon. You can see what is on my wish list here.  After organizing my makeup, I realized I have a lot of products that I don't use and need to try out soon. I'm going to try to really shop my stash before running out and buying something new. Maybe next time, I will go for a 3 month no buy!! Have you successfully completed a no buy?
