Just felt like writing....

At least once or twice week, I look at my blog and YouTube channel and debate if I want to keep going. I admit to looking at others and wondering what I'm not doing or how can I get there. I know I'm not supposed to look at others and stay on my own path. I know that success comes when it is your turn but sometimes it can get frustrating. You can get discouraged at times and want to throw in the towel.

I remember the promise I made to myself when I started this blog not to quit or give up. I started a blog before this one and after about a couple weeks I deleted it because I impatient. I had to learn how to be patient and wait for things. I thought it was supposed to be instant where people would read and comment. A few months later, Naturalle Drea was created and it was hard to keep going. It was hard at first to not want to shut everything down again but the more I was writing and started recording videos, the more I wanted to keep going. All the views and comment worries went away, I wanted to do this for myself. I loved this outlet that was my space and something that was just about me and the things I love.

I am so proud of this space I created and it has only gotten better over these 4 years. I am super close to hitting 100 subbies on YouTube (are you subscribed??) and glad I stopped holding myself back and just did things I wanted to try. I only got one Halloween tutorial up this year but looking to put out two next year with some more practice. I'm getting better at editing and looking to improve the quality of my videos. Sometimes I still worry about if I'll get to that level of sponsored post and stuff but in the meantime, I'm loving what I do. I love coming up with ideas, recording and editing late at night (well not  when I have technical issues lol) and just doing this for myself. I honestly appreciate those who have been in my corner and keep supporting me. I shouldn't worry about those who do not support me, they don't matter at this point.

To anyone who reads this and feels the same way about your passion and goals you are trying to accomplish, just keep going. I know it is hard putting in all this work with slow results. All that work you are doing is for something and will pay off in the end. Just keep going, you never know what could happen if you stay consistent and positive.

Hope you guys have a great weekend and see you Tuesday!

Taking a break.......

On Tuesday I did mention that I had some exciting news to share. I have been working part time for a while and searching like crazy for full time work. I was starting to get a little frustrated but never gave up. Well a full time opportunity came up at my current job and I am now full time status!!! I was just so overjoyed and thankful. I will have a more stable income, I can go back to school and start to make some moves. Then I started to get a little overwhelmed. How was I going to juggle being a full-time working mom, grad student, blogger and balance everything else. It has been a while since I had a full time schedule and based my blogging schedule around my days off during the week. I start my full time hours next week and just need to take a small break away from Naturalle Drea. I really didn't want to because I love this so much but I need to see how to handle everything. I will most likely change my blogging schedule around. Thank you to those who have been encouraging to...

Make Beauty Review*

Happy Friday beauty lovers! I hope you have been enjoying Winter again lol! I hope Mother Nature gets it together soon lol. Today I am bringing you another review powered by BrandBacker! *I was sent these products for testing purposes and this is my opinion after using. Let's get into the reviews! *Powered By BrandBacker* I was pretty excited when I was picked for this campaign. I have tried a Make Beauty eyeshadow before and loved it. Honestly, I was expecting the samples to be a little bigger. I was a little disappointed in the lipstick sample, it was hard to use. It kept breaking when I was trying to apply it. Make Beauty is a very new company to me that I was introduced to through Birchbox.  They have just about everything from eyeshadows to contour kits. They also have a line for skincare as well. Alabaster Eyeshadow This shadow on the Make Beauty site is described as a soft eggshell with peach undertones. This shadow is a matte and can be used as a brow ...

No Buy is Officially Over!!

Yay!! I survived 2 months without a single makeup purchase!! I am so proud of myself and knew I had the will power to do it!! It really helped me staying out of Sephora, Ulta and Mac, the usual places that get me in trouble lol! When I went into Target or Walmart, I wouldn't even go near the makeup section. Funny thing is, I haven't run to the store yet to purchase anything on my wish list yet but I will soon. You can see what is on my wish list here.  After organizing my makeup, I realized I have a lot of products that I don't use and need to try out soon. I'm going to try to really shop my stash before running out and buying something new. Maybe next time, I will go for a 3 month no buy!! Have you successfully completed a no buy? What is currently on your wish list? Comment below and let me know!! ~** Drea Notes**~ We went to the beach today and I'm so glad we did! It was such a fun day with the family!! I'm trying to get back to working out lol!  ...
