On a personal note.....

Funny thing, for the past two weeks I didn't feel like putting on makeup. As much as I love it, I just didn't feel like it. I felt like I was in a funk or something. My thoughts felt pretty clouded and like I couldn't get them together. It felt like so much was going on or I was thinking about too much at one time. Times like that make me miss yoga. I love how relaxing and refreshing it was. I was able to clear everything out of my mind and just have a clear mind, be able to see things clearly. I often go outside for a walk on my lunch to get some fresh air and help to clear all these thoughts. Sometimes I go somewhere quiet and just listen to the quietness. I love to do that, just sit and be still. It is really relaxing and helps me a lot. I'm speaking on this to say that is okay to frustrated by life sometimes. It may lead to breakthrough or new discovery. Being in this kinda funk inspired me in a way. I feel like I discovered something about myself and really learning about me in a way. It made me look at how things have been going in a different way and given me a different perspective. I just wanted to give some encouragement to those that may be going through something like I am or something different. Things will always find a way of working themselves out, you will always learn something good out of anything.

I think we found our resort and venue for the destination wedding!! It is getting exciting!

I can't wait to see family this weekend. I still can't get over my niece graduating from high school! I feel old lol!

I think I am one of the few people who haven't seen Lemonade or heard the album yet! Lol!

  1. I haven't seen Lemonade either. I'm not a fan of Beyonce lol I like her better back during her Destiny's Child and Crazy in Love days. I have felt the same way as you said above. I still wear makeup but just in a funk. Not feeling very positive or in a good place lately. I am hoping I can change this because its a pretty shitty feeling. I work out which is supposed to help with stress but it hasn't lately :/. I take my dog for a walk on my lunch break every other day and its def nice to enjoy the weather.

  2. I'm so much in a funk these days too. I can't seem to shake that feeling no matter I do lately. I am hopeful that things will get better :) I'm not a fan of Beyonce either lol! Like Tanya, I prefer her during her Destiny's Child days.

  3. Girl, I feel it. We all go through those ups and downs. I've been going make-up-less too, just not feeling all the makeup hype lately and trying to take a step back as a reminder to myself that all natural is all good too. I'm sure you're still slaying au natural. Keep your head up :)
