February Monthly Favorites

Hey guys! I normally post a video for my monthly favorites but I've been sick for the past couple of days and my voice is pretty horse! Oh what fun lol but here are the things that I loved during the month of February!

Malin + Goetz Mojito Lip Balm

This was in my February Ipsy bag and I was reading about how everyone else loved it so much. Now I see what you guys were talking about! I love how thick and non sticky this lip balm is. You don't have to apply it too many times during the day and it really keeps your lip moisturized and soft. I will be repurchasing another one when this one is empty!

Cover Girl Queen Collection Lasting Matte Pressed Powder in Golden

I picked this up at Target in late January and I was surprised that I found my shade on the first try!! I love how lightweight this feels and it has about medium coverage. I usually get oily in my T-Zone and I don't see anything when I wear this foundation!

Cover Girl Queen Collection Lipsticks

I have had a few of these for a while and decided to open them up and give them a try! I love how pigmented and smooth the lipstick is. It doesn't dry out your lips at all and stays on for most of the day. The shade pictured is Entwined and it's such a beautiful plum color.

Tarte Pure Maracuja Oil

I got this in the Deluxe Best Sellers Set along with a blush and lip crayon around the holidays. It sat in my drawer for a bit and I saw Julie G. talking about this in one of her videos so I decided to try it out! This is one of the best facial oils I have ever used!! I love the way my skin looks when I wake up in the morning! I'm just so impressed with this oil. You only need about two-three drops after cleansing your face at night. I will be saving my pennies and purchasing the full size when this runs out!!

So those are my monthly favorites for February. I have more post coming soon so stay tuned! What were your favorites for February? Comment and let me know!!

  1. Feel better hun! I wish I got that lip balm in my ipsy bag! I have that Tarte Maracuja oil too! I got the sample with the holiday set that I got. I agree with you. I apply it before bed and my skin looks great when I wake up. The bad part is im not 100% sure what its supposed to do for your skin? Anti Aging?

Sometimes its hard.....

You know when you keep thinking of something and you just feel like you have to get it out? That was me before sitting down to write this post. I had something else planned to write but I kept thinking...sometimes its hard and it just evolved from there. We all heard the sayings, life isn't fair, life is hard and so on. Sometimes life can be hard but we don't experience it for long. There are so many things that I want to do but I know I can't do a million things at once. I can't just pick and go anymore, I'm someone's parent now. There are times I want to but I know things have to be planned out now. I will get to those place I want to go, just have to be patient and plan it out. It seems like we focus so much on what is hard about life that we forget about the easy stuff. We forget sometimes about all the good things that happen and to be grateful for getting through those rough patches. You may not like your living situation but you have a roof over

On a personal note....Update on Blogging and Personal Goals

Happy Football Sunday!! I hope everyone has been enjoying the weekend and getting ready to celebrate Thanksgiving!! I can't believe it is this week! I can't wait to spend time with family! I thought about giving an update to the personal and blogging goals I set for myself last year with the Resolute Beauty Blogger series. You can check out my results post  HERE!!  I completed this in May of this year so let's see how I've been doing since then. Blogging Goals 1. Attend A Blogging Event- Since then I have not attended another event. I was so happy when I did find my one event to attend. I have been keeping in contact with those bloggers I met and reading their blogs. I have been finding events but there are scheduling conflicts. I hope to find another one very soon. 2. Set A Blogging Schedule- I am still sticking to my Sunday, Thursday and every other Friday schedule. It has been really working with my hectic schedule I already have. 3. Change Up Current Style-

Fall Fashion Trends 2017

I keep saying it but I'm going to speak it into existence, I'm going to New York Fashion Week one of these days. It has always been a dream of mine to go and I always miss when it is or have a conflicting schedule but I'm determined to get there. Speaking of fashion, I wanted to share some of my favorites Fall Fashions trends I've seen floating around.  Plaid Image taken from the web I feel like plaid is one of those classic patterns that is always in style. It may not be in the forefront but you always see it. I love plaid, I don't wear it often but I just love how you can dress it up or down, be casual or dressy with it. I would normally wear a plaid button up shirt but would like to venture into different pieces. Sleepwear  When I first saw people doing this, I wasn't a fan but the more I saw different versions, I started to like it. I like this trend when it is done right. I feel like this can be worn on a night out, something you
