On a personal note.....

I looked at the calendar and realized it is exactly a week until I turn 30!! I'm starting to feel a little better about leaving my 20's but I'm trying to savor every last moment of them! I had some really great times in my 20's but I honestly wish that my 10 Year High School reunion happened. I graduated in 2002 and back then I was thinking where I would be in 10 years. I thought it would be so cool to see how everyone turned out in 10 years. I got excited as it was starting to come up on the 10 year mark. I often joked that I just wanted to go so I could laugh at those who didn't really like me in high school. Who was I to think that I would be better off than others? When it became 2012,  I was ready, I was trying to figure how I was going to wear my hair, what I was going to wear, who I was going to see and it got cancelled. Not enough people purchased tickets. I was waiting for enough money to afford them. I was working at the time but I was paying for daycare, ...

My Blush Collection

I am back with another post for January's theme, All About Makeup. This is going to be about all the the blushes that I own. I really didn't wear blush until about a few years ago. I was afraid of how it would look on me and just didn't know if I really needed it or not. MAC in Prom Princess, Format and Pinch Me The first blush I ever purchased was Format by MAC. I felt it was a safe, neutral color for me to start out with. I'm surprised I don't have more blushes by MAC because I love them so much, lol. I would like more sometime in the future. NYX in Summer Peach, Tea Rose and Pinched This has to be my second favorite cosmetic line. I just love how affordable they are and the wonderful quality you get. I actually picked these out myself and was very curious to try out a cream blush which I only used once. I wasn't too sure if I needed a brush to apply or my fingers. NYX has very pretty blushes that show up very nicely and pigmented on your skin. ...

New Skin and Hair Products

I completely forgot to post about these products but it's better late than never! The week after Christmas I went to visit family and we went to a Kwanzaa Celebration at the Reginald F. Lewis Museum in Maryland. They had dancers, drummers, speaker, an art exhibit and lots of vendors. I was looking around at everything the picked up a few items. First I went by the Bami Products table. They had lots of Shea butter soap bars, body butters, oils and so much more. I decided to pick up a couple body butters. It was so hard to choose because everything smelled so good but I was able to narrow it down to two. I got the small size and they were 6.00 each. They also had larger sizes but I just wanted to see how I would like them. I love the how thick, but not too thick the butter is and they really keep my skin moisturized. They also smell so amazing! Here is the company's website if you want to see what else they have to offer! www.bamiproducts.net Next I stopped by Nature...

My Foundation Collection

January is all about makeup, all the makeup that I currently own!! I am starting with my foundations that I own. I always thought it was so hard to match my complexion because I have a yellow undertone. When I was on the search for foundation, I ran into ones that made me look too yellow, too dark, my skin looked ashy but I finally found a few that I just love so much!! Liquid Foundation- MAC Studio Fix Fluid in NC50 This is actually the only liquid foundation I own surprisingly! I really want to branch out and try drugstore and other high end ones but MAC matches my complexion perfectly! I love the coverage it gives and how flawless my skin looks!  Powder Foundations- MAC Mineralize Skinfinish Natural in Dark and Makeup Forever Pro Finish in Neutral Caramel Now the MAC Mineralize Skinfinish is actually for setting your makeup(Well I've seen a lot of MUA on YouTube use it for that purpose) but I use it as a powder foundation. It gives a light coverage and just looks amaz...

Updated Skincare Regimen

Hey guys! Back in September I did a series on finding a facial regimen for my skin. My skin tends to act really funny with certain products and I would find something that I love and then all of a sudden, it would break me out. So far, this routine that I have now is working so well. My skin looks so amazing, fresh and clear. Daytime  Here are the products that I use in the morning to cleanse my face: Cleanser- L'oreal Ideal Clean Foaming Gel Cleanser Toner- Apple Cider Vinegar Eye Cream- Racinne Ultimate Youth Power Eye Serum SPF- L'oreal Sublime Sun Advanced Sunscreen Moisturizer- Shea Moisture Raw Shea Butter Anti-Aging Moisturizer I really haven't found an eye cream that I like, I've just been using eye creams that I got from my beauty boxes. I would also have to switch up my moisturizer once the warm weather returns because my skin gets really dry when it's cold. Nighttime Here are the products that I use at night to help take off all my make...

How I currently store my makeup

This is one of many post that will be up in the next two days. Life has been a little crazy over the weekend but I'm determined to keep up with this blog. For this month, I will be reviewing my entire makeup collection. I thought I would start by showing you guys how I currently store my makeup. At first, I didn't own a lot and had it stores in my travel cases. As my collection started to grow, I needed more space. I thought it would be a good idea to use my empty Birchboxes to store everything.  Now I´m running out of space again lol. In my bathroom under my sink I have two drawers and pictures is the top drawer. I have everything organized and labeled. In the bottom drawer, I have my pallets and some other boxes. I would love to have a vanity when I have my own space and have tons of space for everything. I would also love those acrylic organizers for things. More posts will be coming soon so stay tuned. What do you currently use to store your makeup?
