On a personal note....

We are 6 days away from Christmas and I haven't finished my shopping yet!! I will most likely be out this weekend with the other last minute shoppers lol! We finally got our tree up in the house and I just wanted it to be simple this year.

I don't know how some people do daily vloging but kudos to them because Vlogmas is tiring lol. I am getting through it but it is a lot editing almost every night. I can say that I did it this year, not too sure if I will next year lol but I'll continue with occasional vlogs.

I am so exciting about how things are starting to come together and fall into place. I am grateful for staying in a positive space and kept pushing myself to keep going. There were plenty of times that I wanted to give up but the hard work is starting to pay off. I'm just excited for these opportunities and new doors that are opening. I have been really working to improve Naturalle Drea and myself and it can only get better from here. I have been up many late nights with writer's block, technical issues, tears, frustrations and doubt but I pushed past all those things and kept going.

I know that next year is going to bring more good things, opportunities and so much more positive vibes. I love this positive space I've grown into, sometimes I have to catch myself but it feels good.

Hopefully you guys are ending this year on a good note or will start next year with something to look forward to. I will have post Thursday and Friday and will be taking a break until the new year.

Have a great rest if the week and see you guys Thursday!!

HAVE YOU CHECKED OUT MY NOVEMBER ONYX BOX??

  1. I think that's wondeful that you're staying in a positive space Drea! Omgosh I can relate to so much you're saying about blogging. It can be hard work, but I love blogging so much. I wrote a similar post to this my reflections 2017 post and I feel like things are falling into place in my life too. Wishing you and your family a Merry Christmas and here's to a wonderful 2018!

Sometimes its hard.....

You know when you keep thinking of something and you just feel like you have to get it out? That was me before sitting down to write this post. I had something else planned to write but I kept thinking...sometimes its hard and it just evolved from there. We all heard the sayings, life isn't fair, life is hard and so on. Sometimes life can be hard but we don't experience it for long. There are so many things that I want to do but I know I can't do a million things at once. I can't just pick and go anymore, I'm someone's parent now. There are times I want to but I know things have to be planned out now. I will get to those place I want to go, just have to be patient and plan it out. It seems like we focus so much on what is hard about life that we forget about the easy stuff. We forget sometimes about all the good things that happen and to be grateful for getting through those rough patches. You may not like your living situation but you have a roof over

On a personal note....Update on Blogging and Personal Goals

Happy Football Sunday!! I hope everyone has been enjoying the weekend and getting ready to celebrate Thanksgiving!! I can't believe it is this week! I can't wait to spend time with family! I thought about giving an update to the personal and blogging goals I set for myself last year with the Resolute Beauty Blogger series. You can check out my results post  HERE!!  I completed this in May of this year so let's see how I've been doing since then. Blogging Goals 1. Attend A Blogging Event- Since then I have not attended another event. I was so happy when I did find my one event to attend. I have been keeping in contact with those bloggers I met and reading their blogs. I have been finding events but there are scheduling conflicts. I hope to find another one very soon. 2. Set A Blogging Schedule- I am still sticking to my Sunday, Thursday and every other Friday schedule. It has been really working with my hectic schedule I already have. 3. Change Up Current Style-

Fall Fashion Trends 2017

I keep saying it but I'm going to speak it into existence, I'm going to New York Fashion Week one of these days. It has always been a dream of mine to go and I always miss when it is or have a conflicting schedule but I'm determined to get there. Speaking of fashion, I wanted to share some of my favorites Fall Fashions trends I've seen floating around.  Plaid Image taken from the web I feel like plaid is one of those classic patterns that is always in style. It may not be in the forefront but you always see it. I love plaid, I don't wear it often but I just love how you can dress it up or down, be casual or dressy with it. I would normally wear a plaid button up shirt but would like to venture into different pieces. Sleepwear  When I first saw people doing this, I wasn't a fan but the more I saw different versions, I started to like it. I like this trend when it is done right. I feel like this can be worn on a night out, something you
