I know you are wondering why I'm posting on a Wednesday. I really wanted to get this up before I get caught up in the wedding stuff and my break. Today I'm sharing my May Favorites! So that is it for my favorites. Have you tried anything I mentioned? What were your favorites? I can't believe in 6 days I'll be officially Mrs.Johnson!!! Time has flown by so fast, its crazy! It just seems like I was just starting to plan this wedding and now it will be here!! I honestly don't know what I'm going to do with myself when I'm out of wedding planning mode lol. I know you all have been enjoying this series so much and can't wait to show you guys everything! We are now down to the last little details and things to do. We had our finalization meeting a couple weeks ago and we went over everything that is going to happen that day, I finally gave over my seating chart because it was driving me crazy lol and just what we have to do next. We were doing a walk through of where the ceremony will take place and snapped this picture of my fiance standing where we will say I do.  I felt a little something from me standing on the aisle and seeing him up there. It just felt so so-real, like this was really happening soon,  Soon to be Mr.

I really feel like I have a million things to do in 9 days! This wedding is almost here and I can't believe how fast it came! I'm trying not to drive myself crazy but thank goodness for wine lol! If you guys don't already know, I am getting married very soon....next month to be exact lol. It has been such an experience planning everything, the trying on of dresses, DIY projects, meetings, seating charts and so on. My fiance and I had our finalization meeting yesterday with the venue and we went over everything for the day. We asked to walk through the venue again to make sure we had everything covered. We were outside where the ceremony will take place and I was standing on the aisle and looked up to see my fiance standing a few feet in front of me. It started to really sink in that we are really getting married. After that night, it will be a new chapter in our lives as husband and wife. Now I have heard horror stories on how marriage changes people, they don't realize who they really married and let things just fall apart. I hear that marriage is work and not always easy and so on. I know everyone has a different view and experience on what marriage is or has been to

We are really getting down to the wire here!! It is starting to get a little stressful with the little details and making sure we have everything. I just can't wait until the big day! Everyone has been asking me what I plan on doing with my hair for the wedding. I knew I was not going to straighten it and was going to base my hair style from what my dress looked like. I also plan on doing my hair myself! Yes I know I could go to a salon and have it done professionally but I do my own hair anyway and have been really excited to try different styles. I know that I wanted some kind of updo and something that will go with the veil I am wearing. I tried out 3 different styles over the past couple of weeks.  This post is picture heavy so you may want to grab a snack.  Hair Trial #1 For this style I was thinking on having big, curly hair in the front and the rest of my hair twisted. I had a time at first trying to figure out how to part my hair and how big to make the twist.

It feels like time is going by too fast. I can't believe that my wedding will be here next month and I'm keeping pretty calm (when on the inside I'm screaming and running with my hands in the air)! I feel like I've been in wedding planning mode for so long, I won't know what to do with myself afterwards lol. The new job is going well so far. There were a few times I started to doubt myself in the position because things got a little rough and I felt like I had to be an expert at it. I felt like I had to prove something because I was finally given this opportunity and wanted to show that I could do this job. I didn't want to make mistakes and felt like I had to be somewhat perfect. I had to remind myself that there is not such thing as being perfect, it is okay not to know everything at once. I had to remember that things take time and you can't rush things. There is still so much to learn and I had to remind myself that they did pick the right person for th

I knew my bridal shower was coming up soon but didn't know when it was. I was wondering how they would get me out of the house and dressed for my bridal shower because most weekends, you can catch me without makeup and in comfy clothes lol. Well my Maid of Honor texted me one day last week and asked what I was doing Saturday. I responded that if you count laundry then I wasn't doing much lol. She said that she found a day party in New York to go to and wanted to know if I wanted to go. I said sure, the guys were going for their tux fitting that day anyway. She said cool and said what time we were leaving. I was pretty excited because I haven't been to New York in a while. It was Saturday and it was such a nice day. Funny thing is, I brought an outfit to wear to my bridal shower and put it on just in case that day. Even if it wasn't going on, I was still going to wear it again lol. My maid of honor picked me up and on the way she said she had to stop and make payment at
