Happily Ever Johnson: Updates

I'm starting to get more and more excited as plans are coming together and we move closer to next year!! I still sit back and wonder how I'm doing all of this but its those SuperMom powers lol! Well we are officially booked for our destination wedding in Jamaica!! Our travel agent has been super helpful with this process and I have my aunt to thank for putting me in touch with her. I love the resort we chose and just excited. My mom has stepped in to help with the planning process and will ask those questions I don't think of lol! I think I have found my dress. The last time I went out, there was this one dress I tried on and literally everyone in the salon was coming by admiring and just loving the dress. I did feel a little something when I saw myself in the mirror and everyone just loved it. You won't see my dress until the big day cause my fiance does read my post lol. Here are some pictures from the last dress outing and I had a bit of an entourage that day lol but it was so much fun. I need to pick a dress soon cause I could go out and try them on everyday!

I have been getting a lot of questions about what I'm going to do with my hair for the wedding and I'm waiting on the dress first(guess that can be a post too lol). It depends on the dress what I'll do. So now we are getting the color scheme together, asking people to be in our wedding party, figuring out what the groomsmen and the groom are going to wear, start to look at bridesmaid dresses and so on. There is still a lot of planning with a destination wedding but it is not as much as if we were going to have it here. I'm just excited for things coming together.

See you guys Thursday!!

HAVE YOU CHECKED OUT MY PREVIOUS POST ON MY WASH AND GO SERIES??

I think we found some hashtags for the wedding cause there are so many #HappilyEverJohnson pics, ours would get lost!

Sometimes its hard.....

You know when you keep thinking of something and you just feel like you have to get it out? That was me before sitting down to write this post. I had something else planned to write but I kept thinking...sometimes its hard and it just evolved from there. We all heard the sayings, life isn't fair, life is hard and so on. Sometimes life can be hard but we don't experience it for long. There are so many things that I want to do but I know I can't do a million things at once. I can't just pick and go anymore, I'm someone's parent now. There are times I want to but I know things have to be planned out now. I will get to those place I want to go, just have to be patient and plan it out. It seems like we focus so much on what is hard about life that we forget about the easy stuff. We forget sometimes about all the good things that happen and to be grateful for getting through those rough patches. You may not like your living situation but you have a roof over

On a personal note....Update on Blogging and Personal Goals

Happy Football Sunday!! I hope everyone has been enjoying the weekend and getting ready to celebrate Thanksgiving!! I can't believe it is this week! I can't wait to spend time with family! I thought about giving an update to the personal and blogging goals I set for myself last year with the Resolute Beauty Blogger series. You can check out my results post  HERE!!  I completed this in May of this year so let's see how I've been doing since then. Blogging Goals 1. Attend A Blogging Event- Since then I have not attended another event. I was so happy when I did find my one event to attend. I have been keeping in contact with those bloggers I met and reading their blogs. I have been finding events but there are scheduling conflicts. I hope to find another one very soon. 2. Set A Blogging Schedule- I am still sticking to my Sunday, Thursday and every other Friday schedule. It has been really working with my hectic schedule I already have. 3. Change Up Current Style-

Fall Fashion Trends 2017

I keep saying it but I'm going to speak it into existence, I'm going to New York Fashion Week one of these days. It has always been a dream of mine to go and I always miss when it is or have a conflicting schedule but I'm determined to get there. Speaking of fashion, I wanted to share some of my favorites Fall Fashions trends I've seen floating around.  Plaid Image taken from the web I feel like plaid is one of those classic patterns that is always in style. It may not be in the forefront but you always see it. I love plaid, I don't wear it often but I just love how you can dress it up or down, be casual or dressy with it. I would normally wear a plaid button up shirt but would like to venture into different pieces. Sleepwear  When I first saw people doing this, I wasn't a fan but the more I saw different versions, I started to like it. I like this trend when it is done right. I feel like this can be worn on a night out, something you
