Brown Box Hair Product Reviews

Happy Sunday!! I'm currently watching my team playing in the Sunday Night Football game and savoring the last of the weekend! I haven't done a post in this series in a while, I've been loving my new favorite hair products!! My best friend gave me another box of hair products to try out and I got around to using a few. Lets get into the reviews!!

Carol's Daughter Sacred Tiare Shampoo and Conditioner

You guys know how much I love Carol's Daughter!! When I started my natural journey, these were the products I started out using and still use today. I was pretty excited when I saw these in the box! First I love that the containers have pumps, it make it easy to dispense when your hands are wet and impossible to spill out. I'll start out with the shampoo. I love how you don't need a lot of product to wash with. It really left my hair feeling soft and clean. With the conditioner, I love the creamy and silky texture. It is easy to work with and easy to detangle my hair with. My hair felt so soft and moisturized. My hair was so dry before using these two products and they really helped restore the moisture and softness to my hair. You can use this combo with curly or straight hair. I just love them and will be repurchasing them again. These are the full size products and cost 14.00 for the shampoo and 12.00 for the conditioner and can be found at Target.

Ouidad Melt Down Extreme Mask

I've always wanted to try products from this brand and was happy to see this hair mask. It was a pretty interesting one to try out. I love the smell of this, not sure what the scent is but I love it. I also love the creamy, thick texture and it was easy to apply to my hair. As I was putting this on my hair, it started to foam up and after I left it on my hair for while, it did "melt down" as the packaging says. This mask left my hair feeling so soft, I was impressed. The full size is 40.00, not sure if I would pay that much for a hair mask but I loved using it.

Bee Mine Luscious Balanced Hair Cream Moisturizer

When it gets colder out, I reach for a thicker moisturizer for my hair. I really love using this hair cream. It has a thick and creamy consistency and an amazing smell. It really keeps my hair moisturized and soft. I use this after blowing drying my hair and as a daily moisturizer. This hair cream comes in two sizes, 8oz for 18.97 and 16oz for 34.97. I think I may repurchase this because I'm starting to run out of this sample.

So that is it for another post in Brown Box Hair Product Reviews.. Have you tried any of these products? What were your thoughts? Comment below and let me know. See you guys Tuesday!!

  1. Ok this might be a dumb question but is Carol's Daughter products more for curly and coarse hair? Or do they have products for all hair types?

    1. At first it was geared towards curly and coarse hair but now there are products for every hair type. The ones I talked about are for dry, frizzy and unruly hair. You should check out the website sometime Tanya!

    1. I think they did change the packaging and I think the labeling at Target is different from the ones online and sold in other stores. Thanks Keisha!

Sometimes its hard.....

You know when you keep thinking of something and you just feel like you have to get it out? That was me before sitting down to write this post. I had something else planned to write but I kept thinking...sometimes its hard and it just evolved from there. We all heard the sayings, life isn't fair, life is hard and so on. Sometimes life can be hard but we don't experience it for long. There are so many things that I want to do but I know I can't do a million things at once. I can't just pick and go anymore, I'm someone's parent now. There are times I want to but I know things have to be planned out now. I will get to those place I want to go, just have to be patient and plan it out. It seems like we focus so much on what is hard about life that we forget about the easy stuff. We forget sometimes about all the good things that happen and to be grateful for getting through those rough patches. You may not like your living situation but you have a roof over

On a personal note....Update on Blogging and Personal Goals

Happy Football Sunday!! I hope everyone has been enjoying the weekend and getting ready to celebrate Thanksgiving!! I can't believe it is this week! I can't wait to spend time with family! I thought about giving an update to the personal and blogging goals I set for myself last year with the Resolute Beauty Blogger series. You can check out my results post  HERE!!  I completed this in May of this year so let's see how I've been doing since then. Blogging Goals 1. Attend A Blogging Event- Since then I have not attended another event. I was so happy when I did find my one event to attend. I have been keeping in contact with those bloggers I met and reading their blogs. I have been finding events but there are scheduling conflicts. I hope to find another one very soon. 2. Set A Blogging Schedule- I am still sticking to my Sunday, Thursday and every other Friday schedule. It has been really working with my hectic schedule I already have. 3. Change Up Current Style-

Fall Fashion Trends 2017

I keep saying it but I'm going to speak it into existence, I'm going to New York Fashion Week one of these days. It has always been a dream of mine to go and I always miss when it is or have a conflicting schedule but I'm determined to get there. Speaking of fashion, I wanted to share some of my favorites Fall Fashions trends I've seen floating around.  Plaid Image taken from the web I feel like plaid is one of those classic patterns that is always in style. It may not be in the forefront but you always see it. I love plaid, I don't wear it often but I just love how you can dress it up or down, be casual or dressy with it. I would normally wear a plaid button up shirt but would like to venture into different pieces. Sleepwear  When I first saw people doing this, I wasn't a fan but the more I saw different versions, I started to like it. I like this trend when it is done right. I feel like this can be worn on a night out, something you
