I was in my local beauty supply store looking for curl creams to try out and came across these new products by Cantu. I already use the Leave In Conditioner and love it. I purchased the Hair Lotion and Curl Custard. I've already tried the Hair Lotion and so far I like it. It smells amazing and my hair is soft and feels moisturized. I will check back to let you guys know how the Curl Custard is and how both products are together.

A year ago, I saw my best friend posting pictures on Instagram of these beauty boxes she was getting. I liked what I saw and decided to sign up. I currently have two I subscribe to, which are Birchbox and Beauty Army. With Birchbox, you fill out a profile and they send you 5-6 samples based off the profile you made. I love the element of surprise and have enjoyed all the samples I have received so far. Beauty Army, you also fill out a profile but you get to choose up to 6 samples. I was loving the new products to try but I'm starting to get repeats of products I've chosen in previous boxes.  And I noticed in the last two boxes, there was a sample I did not choose. I think I should get an email saying what I picked has been sold out and to pick something else. So here are my August boxes. So I was just siting at home, folding clothes and cleaning (my normal on days off) and had a thought. All these makeup and hair products that I have been trying out, YouTube videos I've been watching, why not blog about it! I'm just getting back into really wearing makeup after having my son two years ago. No one ever really taught me how to properly apply makeup, I kinda just picked up things from friends, then eventually found the MAC counter and now the power of Social Media. I kinda wish that I was taught how but I've enjoyed learning the way I have. I also never really knew what products were the best, worst, and so on.
